Why do we need chemical and/or microbiological determinations in foods and sewages?

Beyond the legal requirement for such type of determinations, with the integration of Cyprus in the European Union, the requirement of each citizen-consumer that the product he/she buys is safe for the health also exists. This type of safety is only offered with control of the product from an independent laboratory.
